Spotting white fuzz on your cigar? Is it Plume or Mold? Plume, or Bloom, is crystallized Oils from the tobacco, a sign of proper aging and humidity, looking like a fine, powdery dust. Mold, however, is fuzzy, green/blue, and indicates excessive moisture. Plume brushes off cleanly; Mold does not, often leaving stains. Know the difference to protect your collection!
